For years I believed that I was stupid. I had a hard time remembering information. In all seriousness, I still have a hard time remembering things. I have a hard time explaining what I have learned verbally.
I have always loved psychology and my entire life I have been working on improving myself. It has been hard because my flesh is lazy and stubborn.
People who know me personally tell me that I am life smart. Not book smart (even though I read so much) but life smart.
For years this made me upset because I wanted to be book smart but you see God wired me differently. He wired YOU differently. I am drawn to inner improvement more than outer improvement.
Now schools and society focus so much on the things they can see or test.
Most of the important things no one can see except for God.
God opened to me last night that I’m not stupid. That each of us has a unique purpose and gift. I heard this phrase repeated over and over again but it finally sank in. We are all drawn to different things. We gravitate to one thing and not 100 things. That we aren’t good at everything and aren’t meant to be. Did you read what I just said? You don’t have to be good at everything! You don’t need to know everything! You don’t need to study every subject! The individuals who are influential are known for one thing not 100. We are life learners. We also usually gravitate towards one subject our entire life. It might not be what we get paid for but it is something we love and during our free time we devour it with so much love.
So stop comparing yourself to others. You aren’t stupid. Someone is not more valuable than you. Their talent is not more important than yours. You are wonderfully and beautifully made. Let us rejoice in our differences and not be discouraged by them.
Camarillo Premium Outlets
I love outlets. When hubby and I dated he took me to outlets and spoiled me ever since we were dating. Always buying me something and paying for everything. I haven’t been to an outlet in a long time. This outlet has my favorite store ever: BCBG. I usually order all of my clothes online so it was so nice to actually try on clothes for a change. We also stopped by at Watch Station Outlet and bought Esther a watch. We also stopped by Kate Spade New York Outlet and I got a new wallet. I’m not a purse kind of girl so my wallets really get their wear and tear.
After all that shopping we choose to eat at Pink’s Hot Dogs. They have amazing and unique hot dogs to choose from. We also stopped by and got ice-cream at Godiva Chocolatier.

The Abundant Table
The Abundant Table was probably the most educational farm experience we have ever had. It is a organic non-profit farm which serves the local community. They have a wide selection of fruits and vegetables. You can pick strawberries here of which they have 5 different types. We learned that store bought strawberries are the worst fruit you can consume and that chickens lay blue or green eggs too. They also have a store where you can by a variety of local products.

Harley’s Camarillo Bowl
Harleys Camarillo Bowl was a place we visited because it was raining and had a great time. They had a variety of different types of bowling balls. It’s rare for us to go to any location like this but when we do we usually have lots of fun. Elizabeth and Eve really started getting better at bowling during our two games. Peter was very consistent throughout both games and Esther was either doing incredibly good or bad. During the first game her first two rolls got her zero points but by the end she won with 97 points. My husband and I were pretty consistent and my husband got the highest score among us by getting a 97.
Different people live for different moments or so they say they do. Something I love watching is the way my husband interacts with our children. When we went bowling Eve was having a hard time and so naturally my husband stepped in and showed her how to hold the bowling ball and how to stand. After he showed her he stepped away and she knocked down eight pins. The sweet hug she gave her daddy was so precious.

Official Commemorative Air Force So Cal Wing
CAFSoCAl is such a fun place to visit. Walking in they have a museum with information and items on WWll planes which had a huge diversity. Once the tour began and we were outside we saw so many things. We walked on a runway which had planes go on and off it while we were there. The guide gave us some details on most planes and made it pretty obvious that they restore planes. All the information was interesting and he obviously knew what he was talking about. The full collection doesn’t ever seem to be here since they often take planes to shows or other museums but they also store other peoples planes here which are nice to look at. Definitely worth a visit if any of the subject matter interests you.

Courtyard by Marriott Camarillo
If your looking for a place to stay that is modern, clean, beautiful, and large enough for a family than this is the place. There is a jacuzzi and a hot tub here as well. Some of the rooms have a balcony. This is perfect if you have children who are old enough to swim without supervision. You can at least watch them from a distance.
